Marina Del Rey Hotel

Great location in Marina Del Rey overlooking the boats; serene. Nice lobby friendly evening check in staff; although the morning staff was a little stiff and cool. Decent room with very nice bed pillows. However, after trying to turn on the heat (it is nearly Dec), I was told it is turned off for the hotel. They did send up a space heater. There are a few basic TV stations I watch, ABC, Fox and Fox news; the hotel did not offer these basic stations. There were many other stations, but not the basic ones; odd. The room was very nice and bed was comfortable. The views were gorgeous, looking out over the Marina.

Love it! My friends love to come visit me there. While I have been staying there on business, the hotel makes my being there feel I am on vacation at the same time. Very serene. A fun and very diverse international and local clientele also which makes for inspiring people watching when I need a break from work. This is a simple,lovely,comfortable hotel. We especially enjoyed the many soft pillows on the comfy bed. I will definately stay there again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, however the only request I had was never done: fix the dripping AC unit in our room. All weekend, the AC unit dripped water onto the rug. It filled the little waste basket 2/3 full. The front desk said someone would fix it, noone did. Also, the molding around the door was coming off, the vent was hanging by one screw on the second day (they fixed that), and the shower door was schmutzy. ...read more

In a pleasant harbor with boats all around the setting is peaceful, quiet and serene. It is close to LAX and to Venice/Snata Monica. The rooms AC was malfunctioning and that led to a musty, humid, dirty feel that was distinctly different than both other hotels we stayed at on our trip. ...read more

Great waterfront hotel in the Marina, right on the water. This place could be great if the ownership ever decides to upgrade the decor, TV's, bathrooms, etc.
